Portfolio Submission Requirements:

 

To achieve RPP membership (Registered Professional Photographer) please submit your best work of ten 7x10 to 10x10 prints and/or digital files.  Digital files should be sized to 7x10 - 10x10 inches max at 300dpi. Prints must be numbered 1-10 on the back. No identifying marks can be on the surface of the prints.

 

Your submission must contain six prints from the field of work that you specialize in. The remainder may be from any field you wish. All categories are expected to have ten different subjects, scenes and / or photo sessions.

 

If you receive an acceptance of seven to nine prints you must re-submit within two years. The re-submission should include all the originally submitted prints plus the replacement prints along with the comment form you received from the Judging Panel.

 

 

The following are some of the criteria judges use in assessing submissions,

  1. Impact,

  2. presentation,

  3. subject matter,

  4. creativity,

  5. colour balance,

  6. print quality, style,

  7. center of interest,

  8. technique,

  9. composition, and

  10. lighting.

 

 

The following dates are the judging dates for your images to become an RPP for 2008.

 

February 28
May 12
August 18
November 17
