PPOC-Manitoba Member Classifications
Registered Professional Photographer: RPP
A person who has demonstrated knowledge and experience in professional photography and is earning an income from the practice of photography.
Registered Photographic Specialist: RPS
A person providing hand-craft services to the photographic profession or lab technicians, retouchers and other photographic specialists.
Observer Member:
Upon acceptance of application for membership to PPOC-Manitoba by the Board of Directors, all new applicants will be placed in a category of Observer Member for a maximum of 2 years.
Sustaining Member:
Representative of businesses offering goods and services to the photographic profession.
Student Member:
A member who is preparing for a career in photography and enrolled in a recognized photographic program.
Colleague Member:
Marketing or Sales Personnel, Receptionists and Technicians employed by a Registered member of the Association.
Life Member:
A member who has Registered Professional Photographer status and has attained further distinction for services rendered to the association.
Retired Member:
Any member who has retired and ceased to practice.
Non-Resident Member:
A photographer who already is a member of the constituency (province) in which he/she resides (other than Manitoba) may apply for this membership.

The individual member’s areas of service is listed following their member classification. Various areas of service include:
Portrait, Wedding, Commercial, Photojournalism, Industrial, Stock, Restoration, Video, Sports, Audio Visual, Electronic Imaging, Digital, Fine Art, Illustration, Fashion, Boudoir and Glamour.
